The Hawks were the best team in the east in the regular season and they are now leading the series 3-2 heading into the game on Friday. The series has been very close and Washington had chances to win in Game 5, but the Hawks were able to pull it out late. Al Horford put back the winning basket with seconds left and Paul Pierce missed the final shot after previously winning in Game 4 in the final seconds.

The Wizards have been putting up a big fight and now they will try and extend the series a bit more and if they win, they will make it to Game 7. Bradley Beal comes in after leading the team in scoring with 23 points and he also added seven rebounds and four assists. Otto Porter had 10 rebounds and John Wall had seven assists, but the team could not pull out the win.

On the other side of the east bracket, the Cavaliers have taken care of the Chicago Bulls and they are into the conference finals. This is the first time the team has been in the playoffs since James left the first time and now he has the team into the finals in the east. James took the team to the NBA finals and lost to the Spurs while with the Cavaliers and now he is trying to win a title here. The Hawks are the top threat for the Cavs, but many see Cleveland as the favorite.
