The NFL free agent class still has some notable players on the market with names like James Jones, Chris Johnson, Wes Welker, Reggie Wayne, Jermaine Gresham, Joe Barksdale, Knowshon Moreno and Steven Jackson available and teams like the Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Browns, Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers and Miami Dolphins could be landing spots.

Many veteran free agents remain on the market after the draft, as teams have been focusing on draft picks and undrafted players and now those names could get more attention. According to Pro Football Talk, Tuesday marked the day that free agent acquisitions stop factoring into compensatory draft picks and that could cause some teams to take looks at players. The Cowboys are expected to add at least one running back this offseason, while Gresham could get attention from teams in need of a tight end.

The wideouts left on the market are all veterans and with both Welker and Wayne up there in age already, it could be tough to find new homes. The Dolphins had interest in Welker earlier in the offseason, but they have added Greg Jennings and DeVante Parker in the draft and likely are out of that mix. Jones was released by the Raiders and he could be a fit for the Cowboys or Browns. The Cowboys have Dez Bryant on the franchise tag right now and they could use some more depth with Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley.

The running back position has some solid names with Johnson, Steven Jackson, Knowshon Moreno and Pierre Thomas available and they could get deals over the summer. With training camp coming teams may look at adding depth at running back and injuries always happen and that could lead to deals as well. According to Pro Football Talk, Johnson has offered his services to the Cowboys, but right now Jerry Jones said that the team has not had talks with Johnson.

Last season Johnson had 663 yards rushing for the Jets and he could be a fit for the Cowboys if they want some more options behind Darren McFadden. The Cowboys have Joseph Randle, Lance Dunbar and Ryan Williams on the roster and they did not add an RB in the draft, which was something many NFL analysts expected them to do. Jackson and Thomas were let go by their teams this offseason and Moreno is coming in after injuring his knee with the Dolphins.

According to Yahoo Sports, Gresham could be a target for multiple teams, as the Denver Broncos and Arizona Cardinals could check out Gresham after losing tight ends this offseason. Charles Robinson writes that with John Carlson retired, the team could look at Gresham as an option, while the Broncos just lost Jeff Heuerman to an injury and he will be out for the season.

The Broncos signed Owen Daniels already, but they could add Gresham for depth alongside Virgil Green. Robinson added that the Bengals could consider signing back Gresham after he had back surgery this offseason. Gresham comes in after having a solid season with the Bengals, but he had back surgery this offseason and that is one reason why he remains on the market. The Raiders showed interest previously, but after drafting Clive Walford they are likely out of the mix.
