The Seattle Seahawks could be an active team in free agency this offseason, as names like Dwayne Bowe, Jordan Cameron, Owen Daniels, Terrance Knighton, Walter Thurmond, Eddie Royal and Tramon Williams could be potential targets and this comes after the team has signed Marshawn Lynch to a deal along with Cary Williams in free agency.

The Seahawks signed Marshawn Lynch to a three year contract after reports had him considering retirement or leaving the team and that was just the first move for the franchise. According to ESPN.com, the team has signed Cary Williams after his release from Philadelphia and this comes after the Seahawks lost Byron Maxwell to the Eagles in free agency.

According to ESPN.com, the Seahawks may target some other players, as like Dwayne Bowe, Jordan Cameron, Owen Daniels, Terrance Knighton, Walter Thurmond, Eddie Royal and Tramon Williams all could be potential fits. Cameron and Daniels could be options after the team released Zach Miller, while Thurmond may come back after leaving for the Giants last year. The team also is reportedly interested in adding a WR and reports have Bow set to be released from the Chiefs after they signed Jeremy Maclin.

The team got a deal done with Lynch and now they may try and finish things off with Russell Wilson and his extension. Lynch has been one of the most productive backs in the NFL over the past few years, and while there were reports this offseason that the Seahawks were ready to move on from the running back, it clearly was not the case.

According to an earlier report from ESPN.com, Chris Mortensen wrote that the Seahawks hhadave grown "tired" of Lynch's antics and that is one reason why he could have been gone in 2015. That didn't happen, as the team decided to keep him. Lynch has been a power house for the Seahawks, but he is getting to that age when running backs start to break down. Money wise, Lynch had a $6.5 million salary for this season and his cap number as at $8 million and now he gets a bit of a pay bump from the team.

Lynch and his off the field issues have been an issue, but not enough to keep him away from Seattle despite the fact that as he has had problems with the media and he skipped the White House ceremony with the team. There were other incidents as well, including a report about Lynch refusing to get on a team bus after the Percy Harvin trade and also when he stayed on the field and did not go into the locker room at halftime of the Kansas City Chiefs game this season. Lynch rushed for 1306 yards this season, his fourth straight year of 1200 yards or more for the Hawks.

Lynch previously signed a four year contract worth $30 million for the Seahawks and was set to be an unrestricted free agent in 2016 based on that deal. Lynch held out before this past season and the Seahawks opted to bump up his salary for 2014 rather than extend or add money later. King and others had speculated that both sides saw the writing on the wall, which is why Lynch took the money, as he realized that the team likely would cut him loose down the line, but the two sides were able to agree.
