The Tennessee Titans have the number two pick in the draft and that makes them an interesting trade target this offseason, as the team could be interested in making a move for Nick Foles, Jay Cutler, Kirk Cousins, Mike Glennon or Sam Bradford over starting Zach Mettenberger or selecting Marcus Mariota and if that happens, expect the Eagles to try and jump in to make the move.

The Titans are coming off of another bad season and while Ken Whisenhunt has praised the development of Zach Mettenberger, there is a chance the team could make changes at the quarterback position. According to NJ.com, the Titans are one team that has had interest in Nick Foles with the Eagles, as Philly may look at trading their quarterback to move up to select Marcus Mariota in the draft. The Titans would be a logical partner since they have the number two pick and the Buccaneers are reportedly taking Jameis Winston, but that doesn't mean they would be willing to give up the pick easily.

The Titans reportedly had interest in Mark Sanchez before he signed back with the Eagles and while that doesn't signal that they are going to blow things up, it is interesting when looking at Mettenberger. The Titans could have used Sanchez to help give Mettenberger some veteran competition and if they continue down that road, players like Matt Moore or Ryan Fitzpatrick could fit that bill. The NJ.com report also had the Rams and the Texans interested in Foles, but Houston is likely out now with the signing of Brian Hoyer.

NJ.com had a report earlier in the offseason that the Rams were interested in Foles and they confirmed that the Texans and Titans also had interest. The Texans are off the table now that Brian Hoyer is in and if the Eagles want to trade Foles, it looks like the Rams and Titans are the top options. Both teams are in the mix at the top of the draft, as the Rams have the 10th pick and that could give the Eagles ammo to keep moving up for Mariota.

The Foles trade talk is coming from lots of angles, as the Philadelphia Inquirer writes that after the return of Mark Sanchez, the team could look at moving Foles to get Mariota, as he would end up being "the odd man out" if they draft the Oregon product. The trade of LeSean McCoy and other moves Kelly has made has shown that he is in power over the personnel and that he also values Oregon products. The team added Kiko Alonso for McCoy and now Mariota could be the next one to come.

Sanchez showed last year that he can handle the Kelly offense and by bringing him back, it shows Kelly is comfortable with him starting if need be. The Titans have many avenues they can go down, as they were just 2-14 and ranked 22nd in the league in passing yards per game. Mettenberger is a solid player, but he may not be the long term option, while Mariota is intriguing, but he is also untested. While Foles was injured last seasons, he is a solid QB that has won 14 games with the Eagles in the last two years and he could be the player that the Titans can build around if they make a trade.
