The Philadelphia Eagles are coming into the offseason with the spotlight on them after trading LeSean McCoy and new reports have Chip Kelly potentially interested in a Nick Foles trade, as he may target Niners quarterback Colin Kaepernick and this comes as the Houston Texans, St. Louis Rams and Tennessee Titans could be interested in acquiring Foles.

UPDATE: Foles has been traded to the Rams for Sam Bradford. ESPN is reporting the trade and it likely will include a number of draft picks going each way. Bradford is coming off of another ACL surgery, while Foles is coming off of a shoulder injury. The rumors about both players have continued all offseason and now culminates in a trade. Bradford may end up in Philly, or he could be used as part of a deal for Kelly to continue moving up in the draft. The picks include a 2016 second round pick 2015 fourth round pick and a fifth round pick.

--UPDATE: Pro Football Talk reports that the Eagles and DeMarco Murray may have "mutual interest" after the Frank Gore deal broke down for Philly.

Foles is coming into the offseason after missing half of 2014 with an injury and after the Eagles brought back Mark Sanchez, there is a chance they will look at trading Foles. Chip Kelly was given control over the roster this offseason and he is taking full control, as evidenced by the trade of LeSean McCoy to the Bills. Kelly is reshaping this team in his image and while Foles has been solid for the Eagles, Kelly has continued to be connected to his former Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota.

According to two separate reports from NJ.com, the Eagles have teams interested in trading for Foles and Kelly has interest in moving up in the draft to take Mariota. Kelly has a very unique system that he runs and some scouts have said Mariota is "a perfect fit" for Kelly's offense. The Eagles won 10 games last season and missed the playoffs and with Kelly looking like he has some security, he could continue making some big moves.

Foles has won 14 games over the last two seasons for Kelly, but last year he took a step back compared to 2013 in the eight games he started. Foles had 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions last season while completing less than 60 percent of his passes, which all were off the pace of his 2013 numbers. Foles impressed with 27 touchdowns and just two interceptions while completing 64 percent of his passes in 2013 and Kelly may now look at Sanchez as a better option after he came in for Foles last season.

Kelly may take a risk by trading Foles, as trading up to get Mariota is no guarantee. NJ.com reports that if the Eagles miss out on Mariota, they could go after Brett Hundley from UCLA or Bryce Petty from Baylor in the draft. The team also has Matt Barkley, but he is not looked at as a starter yet. Kelly has some options for Foles, as NJ.com reports that the Texans, Rams and Titans all made inquiries about Foles earlier this offseason.

The Texans are in the market for a QB, but if they sign Brian Hoyer they are likely out of the mix. The Rams have been looking for a solid option with Sam Bradford coming off of knee surgery, while the Titans have Zach Mettenberger and the number two pick. That selection could make a deal a target for the Eagles, as trading up for the number two pick likely would mean getting Mariota.

The Eagles have been spending in free agency, bringing in Byron Maxwell and nearly signing Frank Gore, but it looks like the running back may not stick the landing. According to ESPN.com, Gore is having second thoughts about signing with the Eagles and it comes after reports had him agreeing to a three year deal with the team.
