The English Premier League results had some surprises this weekend, as Arsenal was upset by Swansea City after giving up a lead and that was the second time this week the Gunners did that, while Tottenham fell at White Hart Lane to Stoke City and Manchester United won over Crystal, while Chelsea continues to lead the Premier League table standings.

Arsenal has been scuffling as of late and while Alexis Sanchez has been excellent for the team, the Gunners have not been able to hold things together. The team, blew a three goal lead against Anderlecht in the Champions League with two late goals during the week and now they have blown another game. Arsene Wenger needs to get his team together and they gave up scores after Sanchez scored a goal in the second half, including on a free kick from Gylfi Sigurdsson. After the international break Arsenal will play against Manchester United.

Tottenham has been having a tough year and now Mauricio Pochettino is firmly on the hot seat after another loss at home. The team fell to Stoke City 2-1 at White Hart lane and Jurgen Klinsmann was in attendance and there could be a move here for the Spurs soon the way this is going. Chelsea continues to lead the Premier League and Tottenham is in 12th on the EPL table and they are ahead of West Brom for the time being.

Manchester United won and while the score was just 1-0, they held things together at Old Trafford and bounced back from a loss the week earlier against Man City. The team had a draw last time out with Chelsea at Old Trafford and now they have a win heading into a huge matchup with Arsenal and that will be at the Emirates. The team has two home games after that and then they have an important matchup with Southampton, as they are second in the league standings.
