Manchester United and Crystal Palace are playing live on the English Premier League schedule on Saturday and the match is from Old Trafford at 10 pm ET and is live on the NBC Sports Network Live Extra website as Wayne Rooney and company come in looking for a win and Man Utd is favored in the game on the EPL slate.

Man United comes in after a loss against Man City and that was on the road and they are 10th on the English Premier League table coming into the weekend. The team has a game against Arsenal next and that will be away and then the team has Hull City at Old Trafford after that. Man United is looking to put together some strong performances heading into the next stretch of the schedule, as they want to be in better form when they play against Arsenal as well as Southampton, as they are second in the league standings right now.

Louis Van Gaal will have to work his magic, as the lineup will be without some big names and that includes Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones, Jonny Evans and Rafael and that means players will need to step up. The team is looking to keep Crystal from winning a match at Old Trafford since back in 1989 and after the streaks that ended last year, Man Utd is looking to keep that one going. Van Gaal has had an up and down start to the season and while it has been better than David Moyes, it still has been rocky.

Wayne Rooney has missed time and Robin Van Persie has not been scoring like he usually can, while Radamel Falcao is looking to get back into for. The Red Devils come in against the Eagles looking for a win and Crystal has not won in four games and that should give the team a boost in this matchup. United has played very well against Crystal in league play and the team has never lost to them, wining eight times and drawing in two matches.

The team has kept the Eagles from scoring in all but two of those matches and they will be looking to do that again. The performance against Man City was not great and it took until late in the second half to get the first shot on target for the team. Man United has given up goals from set pieces and they have also had to use over 30 players already this season. The team has kept only two clean sheets in the Premier League in the last 12 games at home and they need to get a good performance here against a bad team for some confidence moving forward.
