The English Premier League Schedule has been out and as the preseason moves along, EPL clubs are getting ready to start the year and the opening fixtures for the first weekend have some great games and they will all be live on TV from NBC and some highlights include Manchester City against Newcastle, Liverpool and Southampton as well as West Ham and Tottenham, while Manchester United, Everton and Chelsea are all in action as well on Saturday, August 16.

Last year Man City won the title and finished just ahead of Liverpool and on top of Chelsea and Arsenal in the league table standings. Those teams are all in Champions League qualifying after last year and following some big moves over the summer, all the EPL teams will be looking to move into that space. Man United made a number of deals and signings, while Luis Suarez is now gone from Liverpool after his fine season and is now with Barcelona on a transfer deal.

Arsenal had a strong season last year and they have made some impressive moves and they open up with Crystal Palace on the first day of the season. Arsenal is into the Champs League and they played well for the first half of the season and were leading the EPL table for a while, but the Gunners couldn't stay on top. Chelsea finished ahead of the team and behind Man City and Liverpool and they now will open against Burnley, who is making the jump after qualifying last season.

Leicester is also making the jump and they matchup with Everton in the first game of the season and that comes along with Liverpool and Southampton at Anfield. The Reds come in after making some major changes and they are looking to get back on top after having a very good season and nearly winning the title for the first time in decades.

Man United opens with Swansea and they are looking to make Old Trafford impossible to play in once again, as last year they gave some historic streaks up with the way they played. QPR makes the move with Hull in the first game, while Man City starts their title defense against Newcastle United. Stoke and Aston Villa matchup, while West Brom and Sunderland play along with West Ham and Tottenham.
