The PGA Tour Leaderboard in Round 3 of the WGC Bridgestone Invitational has Sergio Garcia leading Rory McIlroy, Marc Leishman, Keegan Bradley, Justin Rose as well as Adam Scott, Brandt Snedeker and Rickie Fowler ahead of Tiger Woods and heading into the final round Sergio is playing well and the tourney was won by Woods last year and the leaderboard and live coverage is from ESPN.com and the PGA Tour website at PGATour.com for the full scores.

The PGA Tour Leaderboard in Round 2 at the WGC World Golf Championships Bridgestone Invitational from Firestone has Justin Rose leading and names like Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy are chasing as Round 2 starts and heads into round 3 from Friday into the weekend and the golf tournament has scores from ESPN.com and the PGA Tour website at PGATour.com for the full leaderboard and tee times.

The PGA Tour leaderboard is live from the WGC Bridgestone Invitational golf tournament at Firestone in Akron, Ohio with Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy playing in the first round and the tee time start is past 9 am ET, while Woods will be in the afternoon following McIlroy in the morning and the golf scores can be found from the PGA.com and ESPN leaderboard heading into the start of the tournament.

The tournament comes after Woods had a rough go at the British Open and McIlroy won it and now he will try and get things right ahead of the PGA Championship. Woods comes in after having back surgery this year and this has wrecked up his season a bit and now he is looking to get back on track. Woods won five times last year and three of those were before the Masters and now he is looking to at least have a solid tournament.

McIlroy now has a Claret Jug and is one away from the slam and he comes in after winning the British Open and the 25 year old is playing well. McIlroy looked good in his practice round and he is the favorite here and likely will stay that way until he falters after how well he played and now he number two behind Adam Scott in the rankings. McIlroy is looking like he is ready to take back number one and that comes after Woods took it from him last year and then Scott this year over Woods.

Woods said he felt healthy at the British and now he is also looking to get into form for the FedEx Cup playoffs and the Ryder Cup, as he is in contention to be on the team. Woods won the tournament last year and he also has played well here in the past and he took this as his fifth win last season. Woods won by seven strokes last time and went with a 61 in the second round, but he is far from that when he was number one in the world last year.

People thought he was finally turning things around, but he has not been able to stick with that and now he needs to play well over this two week stretch to make it into the playoffs. The major drought is still going and now he is looking to just play solid golf and this comes as the Ryder Cup starts up in September in Scotland and he hopes to be part of that. Woods tied for 40th last year at the PGA after winning here and now he is trying to win here again ahead of that major and this has mostly been a terrible year for him overall with the surgery and rough play.
