Sunderland and West Bromwich are playing on the English Premier League schedule on Wednesday and the match starts up at 2:45 pm ET and comes from the Stadium Light after a big win from the team last week to push ahead of relegation and now they have one more match against Swansea City on Survival Sunday and the match comes streaming from the NBC Sports Live Extra website.
Sunderland has had a strong finish to the season and that pushed them up above relegation and their win away against Manchester United at Old Trafford was the exclamation point on the season. The team had not won there since 1968 and that was one of many records to fall for Man U this year and now Sunderland can put themselves in even better position, as they return home for the final two games of the season and they come in with some momentum, as they have not lost since playing Everton and they have played against some of the best teams in the EPL while doing it.
Sunderland had their big win against Man U last weekend and that saw the team get the 1-0 victory and before that they won in dominating fashion against Cardiff City and that helped the team pull out of the bottom of things. The team won at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea before that and that turned out to be a huge game for both sides and the team also played well against Manchester City and that ended in a draw and the team can hang their hat on those games and they will take that into Survival Sunday and the final weeks of the season. The team will play against West Bromwich Albion and Swansea City at Stadium of Light and that ends the year on the schedule for the team.
West Brom comes into the game after a loss against Arsenal and that locked the Gunners into the fourth place on the table, while Brom has two more matches left to play, with Sunderland coming on Wednesday and then Stoke City on Sunday. The team comes in after losing to the Gunners and winning before that against West Ham and the team also lost to Man City before that and now they will try to end things on a high note. These games on Wednesday with Sunderland and West Brom and Manchester City playing Aston Villa are the final ones before Survival Sunday and that will make for an exciting finish.
Man City has the edge and Liverpool comes in first in the EPL standings over Man City by one point, while Chelsea is in third and that is likely where they will finish. Arsenal is in fourth over Everton and Tottenham while Manchester United is seventh on the table to head into the final week.
