Manchester United and Hull City are playing on the final week of the English Premier League schedule before championship Sunday and the match for Man U comes at Old Trafford and it starts up at 2:45 pm ET and streaming live from the NBC Sports Network Live Extra website and comes as the team lost again at home and now Wayne Rooney and Ryan Giggs will be looking to give fans a final positive memory to a lost season.

Man United comes in after a historic loss at Old Trafford and that was to Sunderland 1-0 and that was just the latest milestone defeat for the club at home this season. The team has broken a number of streaks and this one went back to the 1960's and now the team is looking to finish the season with some strong play despite having their manager fired this year and losing Robin Van Persie for a month, although he was able to return on Saturday. The team was eliminated from the FA Cup and the Champions League this year and they remain seventh on the league table.

Juan Mata said this week that the club will be looking to bounce back and that the fans deserve better and that the team wants to finish things on a high note and these two matches are a chance to do that. The team is playing three straight at Old Trafford and this is the third of that stretch and then the team finishes on the road against Southampton and that will be the final match on Sunday. The team is seventh on the table behind Everton and Tottenham, while Liverpool and Man City are tops over Chelsea heading into the final week.

Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie have been the best offensive players for the club this season and Rooney will have to come through again on Tuesday to get the victory. The team has now lost seven games at home and that is a tough number to swallow and Old Trafford will be roaring on Tuesday night as the team tries to win and next year Man U likely will be looking very different and while Ryan Giggs will remain, some major changes are likely coming and this could be the last home games for Rio Ferdinand and Patrice Evra as well as Nemanja Vidic and that makes it even more crucial for the players.

The week has a number of games to make up before the final fixtures on Championship Sunday and that will be on May 11 and starts up at 10 am ET with everyone playing their final games. Man U and Hull play on Tuesday and then Sunderland takes on West Brom while the biggest match of the week is Manchester City and Aston Villa at Etihad Stadium, as Man City has the chance to solidify their title hopes and it comes as they have a match in hand on Liverpool heading into the final week and they came into the weekend tied in scoring, but Man City was better on differential. Man City has been dealing with the injury to Sergio Aguero and now City manager Manuel Pellegrini has his team in position to win.
