Manchester City and Aston Villa are playing on the English Premier League schedule from Etihad Stadium on Tuesday as the final Survival Sunday approaches and the match starts up at 2:45 pm ET and comes as Man City can close in on the Barclays title in the EPL and the game will be streaming online from NBC on the Sports Network Live Extra website.

Manchester City comes into the match looking to put themselves in championship position and while they are the favorites, they still need to take care of business, as they have to get above Liverpool no the table standings. The team comes into the week with a match in hand over the Reds and the better goal differential and that is why they are the favorites to win the title and it comes after Liverpool had multiple chances to take hold and could not convert. Man City is down one point in the standings and they are also three goals back for the moment, but the team has allowed far less goals than Liverpool and that could end up being the difference.

Liverpool had the chance to lock up the league title with seven points over their final three matches, but instead Chelsea came in and changed all of that. The Blues won at Anfield 2-0 before last week and that set up the match on Monday for the Reds, who ended up tied 3-3 after going up three goals against Crystal Palace and that allowed them to get only one point in the match for the draw and it also negated that differential after the three goals. Man City now has the best percentage chance to win and Chelsea has fallen out and it came after some tough play at home at Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

Man City and Liverpool each have 25 wins and Man City has the chance to play two matches in the same week and that is why they likely will be holding the title this season. Luis Suarez won the Golden Boot, but he couldn't get another goal on Monday after scoring one and with Man City winning against West Brom, Crystal and Everton after a draw with Sunderland, Manuel Pellegrini has his team in position to be champions of the Barclays and it comes as the team has Aston Villa on Wednesday and West Ham on Sunday and that will be part of the 10 am ET kickoff for the Survival Sunday set of final matches in the EPL.

Yaya Toure has been clutch for the team and he is leading in goals, while Sergio Agüero has done his part when not injured and now the team is looking to close things out. Toure has been dealing with an injury sustained in the match against Everton and he said that he will be fit for the team when they play on Tuesday and that is a huge development for the club. The 30 year old said he was fit enough to play in both games this week and it came after he originally hurt himself and was forced to miss the game against Liverpool and that saw the Reds win and while that may have given the, the inside track at the time, Man City has all the momentum now. The team plays both games at the Etihad and being in front of the home crowd will be huge.
