Barcelona and Celta Vigo are playing live on the La Liga Spanish Primera Division schedule on Wednesday and the match from Camp Nou with Lionel Messi will be streaming online starting up at 3 pm ET and has Barca looking to bounce ahead of Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid on the league table for at least an hour or two until those teams play, as they are just one point back.

Barcelona is locked in a battle with Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid at the top of the table and the team got a huge victory against Real in the Clasico on Sunday and that puts them at just one point back and as the season pushes on, it will be a three way battle for the top spot. Barcelona and Real Madrid will be playing again soon in the Copa Del Rey finals and that should be a great matchup with Cristiano Ronaldo looking to get revenge on Messi and Barca and here the team has the chance to keep their strong play going after the Clasico win and that was a dominating performance at the end from Messi.

This season Lionel Messi remains the leader in scoring and this comes despite the fact that he missed a chunk of the season, while Messi and Cesc Fábregas are tops in assists for Barca. The team has been playing very well and they got a much needed win in El Clasico and after the match Cristiano Ronaldo claimed that the officials made some biased calls, but Messi railed back against that and he was the main reason for the success in the match, as he came on very strong and scored three goals, including the eventual winner.

Barcelona comes in after that win against Real Madrid and that came on the road and it was 4-3 in favor of Barca and now they will continue against Celta Vigo and they next will play against Espanyol before starting up the next round of the Champions League and that will be against a familiar foe in Atletico Madrid. The matchup starts with the first leg at home at Estadio Camp Nou and then the team plays the second leg of the quarters on the road and that will come a week before the team has the Cop match against Real Madrid. The team finishes the season with a huge matchup against Atletico Madrid at home at Camp Nou and by then the match could be for the top spot in the league as the season ends.

News has also come out that the team may be spending over $100 million this summer and part of that could be a new contract for Messi as well as potential replacements for players that have their deals up heading into next year, including goalkeeper Victor Valdes. The match against Real Madrid was hard fought and the team got onto the scoreboard early with a goal from Andres Iniesta and Messi did the rest and that came after the team went down 2-1 after two goals from Karim Benzema just four minutes apart. Ronaldo followed with a goal after Messi scored his first and then he added two more in the second half off penalties and that put the team ahead for good and now they will match up against each other at the end of the season.
