Shaun White of the U.S. competes during qualification in the men's half pipe snowboarding competition at the Torino 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Bardonecchia, Italy in this February 12, 2006 file photo. While snowboarders fiercely cling to their counter-culture roots there is no denying that a decade of growth and three Olympic Games have brought the sport mainstream appeal and even, dare it be said, respectability. Once unwelcome at ski resorts, snowboarders now rule over mountains they were chased from, and White is their king. "

Winter X Games 2013 starts up on ESPN live with the Ski Slopestyle Medal Race on the final day in Aspen at 2:00 PM ET.

The 2013 Winter X Games finishes up in Aspen on Sunday with a number of different events, including the men's Ski Slopestyle, which kicks off the day at 2 PM ET. The qualifying on Friday saw Britain's James Woods finish first, ahead of Andreas Hateit and Alex Bellemare.

More events will go on later in the day, including the Snowmobile SnoCross Adaptive final and the women's Ski Slopestyle starting at 3:15. The Snowmobile SnoCross first round starts up at 4 p.m. ET, and the final round will finish around 6 p.m.

The evening events start at 9 PM ET, with the Snowmobile Best Trick final, and the then the big events gets going with the men's Snowboard SuperPipe final at 9:45 p.m. Iouri Podladtchikov has the top spot with a score of 87.33, a third of a point higher than Shaun White's qualifying 87. White has won the event in each of the past five years and will be looking for a big run tonight.

In Saturday's events, Mark McMorris beat out Shaun White in the men's Snowboard Slopestyle final.

"He's got all the tricks; he's just getting back into it. I felt really solid about my riding. I'm just glad it all worked out and everybody stayed safe. I landed a run I don't think I've ever done, really," White said to ESPN.com.

Last year White put up a perfect run in the event, but this year was all about McMorris, who threw in a cab double cork 1260 to his final run, which put his score out of reach from 94.66 to 98.00. Maxence Parrot and Seppe Smits finished with the silver and bronze, while White finished fifth.

"I'm going to let this soak in and hopefully turn it into a motivator," said White, who hopes to challenge McMorris for the 2014 Olympic gold medal when Slopestyle debuts in Sochi, Russia.

In the women's Slopestyle, Jamie Anderson took home gold, with Sarka Pancochova and Spencer O'Brien grabbing the silver and bronze medals.

In the Women's Snowboarding SuperPipe final, favorite Kelly Clark took the gold medal, while last year's silver medal winner Elena Hight took the same spot. Arielle Gold went the opposite of her name and took the bronze. Clark pulled a frontside 1080 out of the gate, straight into a cab 720 to overtake Hight's score that included a backside 900 high on the hill.

"That's what I came here to do, so I thought I'd just throw it," Hight said after her history-making run.

Clark won her 10th X Games medal and became he first three-peat winner of the event. The rest of the results included Henrik Harlaut winning gold in the Big Air final, with Kai Mahler and Elias Ambuhl earning the silver and bronze.

"I had that trick in my mind for the past month but wasn't really planning on trying it unless I had to," Harlaut said. "Tanner Hall, Taylor Seaton and Vincent Gagnier were up there (at the top of the course), and they motivated me. Tanner was like, 'Yo dog, you gotta make history, let's do it.'"
