Winter X Games 2013 starts up on ESPN live with the Men's Snowboard Slopestyle with Shaun White at 2:00 PM ET. The women's Snowboard Slopestyle will also be going down.

Mark McMorris took the top spot in qualifying on Thursday and will be riding high after taking the gold in America's Navy Snowboard Big Air. White snuck into the final run after coming in seventh place and will go for his first gold medal as day three of the 2013 Winter X Games in Aspen.

McMorris is the favorite after being a double-gold medalist in Slopestyle and Big Air over the past two years, but White can always come through with an excellent run at any time. McMorris was excellent in the elimination session, while White was forced to decline a second run, which put him into the event at seventh. He pulled off an amazing trick on Friday night and could be preparing to do another on in the Slopestyle.

White won the Slopestyle in 2009 and in last year's SuperPipe final, he hit the first perfect score in the history of the games to win his fifth straight gold medal in the event. The women's final will go down at 3:45 PM, while the night session will have the Ski Big Air round one and final and women's Snowboard SuperPipe final at 9:15 PM ET.

In yesterday's competitions, Maddie Bowman took the Women's Ski SuperPipe Final for the gold medal, upsetting Roz Groenewoud, who came in second for the silver, while Megan Gunning took the bronze. In the America's Navy Snowboard Big Air Round Final, Torstein Horgmo took the gold with a best of 94.00, while Mark McMorris and Stale Sandbech came in second and third.

In the final event on Friday in the Men's Ski SuperPipe Final, David Wise beat out Torin Yater-Wallace and Simon Dumont for the gold medal. Wise was the winner last year, while Yater-Wallace took home the silver for the second time after finishing in third in 2012. Wise pulled off a number of difficult tricks, including a rightside double cork 1260 mute and a switch double 1080.
