The Texas Rangers and Boston Red Sox are going at it on Tuesday night at Fenway Park and the game starts up at 6:10 pm ET and is streaming from MLB.com and will be live online and the matchup has Felix Doubront against Martin Perez and it comes after the World Series champs got a win on Monday.

The Red Sox got swept by the Milwaukee Brewers at home at Fenway Park and they rebounded with a win against the Rangers that was started by John Lackey and the team now is third in the AL East as the season gets going. The team has a matchup on the road with the Yankees coming up later this week and they are looking to get on a roll and they hope Felix Doubront will get the best of left-hander Martin Perez in the game on Tuesday.

The Red Sox come into the game after scoring 24 runs over the first week of the season and they are fifth in the league in hitting right now with a .273 average and they also are ninth in on base percentage and 16th in slugging. The team is looking to repeat as World Series champions and they now come in at 16th in WHIP and the pitching has been solid overall, as they are second in quality starts and 10th in ERA, but they have been giving up too many hits in the early schedule and the bullpen will need to get sharper as well. Jake Peavy will be on the mound on Wednesday for the game against the Rangers and Ryan Roberts will be in the lineup at third base and this comes after Will Middlebrooks was forced to hit the DL.

Red Sox manager John Farrell knows the pressure is on his team to win again and he said that this group will be ready for the marathon to the playoffs this season. The Rangers come into the game after the loss to open the series and now both teams are 3-4 on the season as things get going and the Rangers are hoping to turn things around, as the Mariners have shown they are a surprise team in the AL West and they could be contenders with the way they are playing, as Felix Hernandez and Robinson Cano have played well to start the season and they could be in the mix for a wild card.

The Yankees are going to be in the mix in the AL East and the Red Sox are not worried and they will get a first look at former star Jacoby Ellsbury in the matchup with the team at the end of this week.
