The Baltimore Orioles and New York Yankees continue their series on Tuesday at the Stadium as the MLB baseball game gets underway at 1:05 pm ET and the matchup as Ivan Nova on the mound for the Yanks and Wei-Yin Chen will be pitching for the O's and the game comes streaming live from the MLB.com website.
The Yankees are coming in with a 4-3 record after winning their home opener on Monday and now the AL East matchup will continue in the Bronx with Nova, who started the season with a win against the Toronto Blue Jays in the previous series. Masahiro Tanaka will be getting his first action at home soon and Brett Gardner started things off with the first home run of the season and now the Yankees are hoping that their big names in Carlos Beltran, Brian McCann and Jacoby Ellsbury can start raking some runs in.
The Yankees opened the season against the Houston Astros and now they continue their run of AL East series and they will play against the Boston Red Sox later in the week at the stadium as well. Nova is looking to help the Yanks win their fifth time in six games after getting off to a slow start and now he has the chance to keep the strong starting pitching going for the Yankees. The bullpen will be somewhat of an adventure, as David Robertson was injured and he is hitting the DL and that left Shawn Kelley to get the save on Monday and now he likely will be there in the ninth inning if the Yankees need it again.
The Yankees come in after the 4-2 win against the Orioles and that saw Hiroki Kuroda pitch very well and now they come in with Nova before Tanaka gets his start and the team so far is hitting over .250 with 24 runs scored in seven games. The team opened a week ago on the road and they are now home for the week and the Orioles come into the game at 2-5 to start the season and they will have Miguel Gonzalez taking on Tanaka on Wednesday.
