The Arizona Diamondbacks and San Francisco Giants are playing live on the MLB schedule on Tuesday and the matchup is streaming from AT&T Park and comes as the Dbacks are looking to bounce back and they play SF in California starting up at 4:35 pm ET and Trevor Cahill will be going up against Tim Hudson and the NL West baseball matchup should be a good one.
The Diamondbacks started the season in Australia and that did not go as planned after losing both games there to the LA Dodgers and now the team is just 2-7 and trying to gain their footing in the division. Cahill comes into the game after losing his first two decisions and the game comes before Bronson Arroyo and Tim Lincecum will matchup in the game on Wednesday night and this matchup gives the Giants the chance to get back on track after losing to the Dodgers, with Matt Cain taking the defeat in that matchup.
Hudson was very good in his last start and that came in a win against Arizona and he had seven K's in seven 2/3 innings and now he gets the chance to face the team again. The Giants have been playing well on offense and they have 40 runs scored already this season and they rank third in slugging percentage and 12th in batting average in the early goings and after having a rough season in 2013, they are hoping to contend for the division or the wild card as they try to get back to the playoffs this season.
The Diamondbacks come into the game after a win against the Colorado Rockies and they now are playing against the Diamondbacks to open the series. The team has been struggling to get wins, but they are ranked in the top 10 in runs scored and now they have the chance to get things back on track. The team is 16th in batting average this season and they are ranked 21st in on base and 18th in slugging percentage.
