The Washington Redskins visit the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night football in Week 10 and the two teams are coming into the game looking for a win and the Skins have a chance to go on a nice roll and the game will be on the NFL Network at 8:25 pm and streaming online from NFL.com on the league pass coverage from Mall of America Field.

The Redskins are coming into the game after an exciting overtime win against the San Diego Chargers and now they are trying to turn that into their first winning streak of the season, as they opened with three straight losses and then have alternated losses and wins since then and need some consistency. Robert Griffin is playing against a defense that is giving up a ton of yards this season and he has the chance to put up some good numbers against the secondary and he will be looking towards Pierre Garcon quite a bit and Jordan Reed has also been a player that has stepped up for Griffin. The Redskins have been focusing on the rush more and against the Chargers Alfred Morris went over 20 carries for the first time this season and that could continue against the Vikings.

The Redskins have done a good job scoring after turnovers and with the Vikings ranking in the top five in giveaways, which could be a deadly combination for Minnesota. The Redskins have one of the top quarterbacks in the league and the Vikings have one of the top running backs and those two players in Griffin and Adrian Peterson will have the focus and it's interesting how both recovered from their ACL surgeries, as AP rushed for 2,000 yards and Griffin has only recently started to look like his old self. Griffin has nearly twice as many yards last season as he does this year at the same point on the schedule and he has been less accurate with the ball as well, which could be another effect of the knee surgery.

This season he has nine touchdowns with 2,100 yards passing and he has overthrown a number of receivers in recent weeks on passes that he hit last season. The team comes into the game after beating the Chargers and losing to the Denver Broncos in bad fashion and that came after a shootout win against the Chicago Bears. The Redskins can put up points against a team like the Vikings, who played better last week against the Dallas Cowboys and now they have the chance to try for their first win in over a month. The Vikings have not won on American soil this season after defeating the Steelers in London and their schedule gets tougher as the team goes on, as they still have divisional games against the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions.

The Redskins have a tough upcoming schedule as well after the Vikings game, as they play against the Eagles on the road I Philly and that comes before one of the most anticipated games of the season in the Monday night football matchup in Week 12 against the San Francisco 49ers. The team has another divisional game against the New York Giants and then has the undefeated Chiefs on the docket in the last of three straight home games. The team then finishes with two of three on the road, playing at the Atlanta Falcons and then coming home against the Dallas cowboys before ending on the road against the Giants. The Redskins will visit the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night starting at 8:25 pm.
