The Baylor Bears and the Oklahoma Sooners are playing one of the more anticipated matchups in college football this week, as the two teams will battle at Floyd Casey Stadium on Thursday night on Fox Sports 1 at 7:30 pm and the college football Big 12 game will be going down in Texas and streaming online from FS1.

The two teams are ranked in the top 10 and Baylor comes in as a sleeper national championship pick if they keep winning and they have the best offense in the nation and the most productive one in what feels like years. The team is averaging over 700 total yards this season while averaging over 60 points per game and that is even more than Oregon and the Sooners will have plenty of weapons to account for, as Lache Seastrunk and Bryce Petty will lead the offense against a solid Bob Stoops defense, but the Sooners have not been as good as in recent years. The Big 12 matchup is huge for both teams, as Baylor is 4-0 and the Sooners are 4-1 and they could vault themselves into the BCS race with an upset win on the road on Thursday night. The team is coming off of a dominating win over Kansas that saw Petty throw for over 400 yards again and the defense has been excellent, allowing 21 points in the past two weeks.

Check here for the Baylor and Oklahoma live coverage from Thursday night.

Baylor has been excellent passing the ball this season, ranking first in the nation while averaging over 400 yards and that is more than some teams have put up in entire games combined with rushing this season. Petty has been excellent with 18 touchdowns and one interception and the team now faces a team that gave up a nice chunk of yards over the past two weeks. Baylor has been historic with their scoring and they have not scored less than 59 points in any game apart from one and they have been 70 or more four times already and that has been crazy. Baylor will play aggressive and this could be the game that proves whether or not they belong with the top teams like Oregon and Alabama, as they are playing their first ranked team of the season.

The "toughest" opponent this season was Kansas State on the road and the team looked ordinary but pulled off that win and now they have three straight games against ranked opponents and it includes Texas Tech next week and then a big game with Oklahoma State on the road. The team then has two more state teams with TCU on the road and the Texas Longhorns at home and that could be a huge matchup. The team has the top ranked offense in the nation and are allowing the sixth least amount of points per game and Petty has put himself in the Heisman race with over 2,400 yards passing and 18 scores and the team needs a win to keep pace with Texas in the conference, as they are 5-0 this season, making that final matchup very interesting if Baylor wins this.

Seastrunk has over 800 yards rushing this season and he is one reason why the team has been so efficient and now Oklahoma has the chance to pull off one of the bigger upsets of the season. Oklahoma comes in after winning against Texas Tech and Blake Bell has been very solid with 1348 passing yards and the team has done a good job rushing the ball, ranking in the top 20 with over 200 yards per game. The defense will need to hold tight and will need to try and at least keep the game close, while the offense has to put up at least 40 to have a chance. The two teams play on Fox Sports 1 at 7:30 with Oklahoma visiting Baylor.
