The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers are playing on the Thanksgiving NFL schedule on Thursday and the matchup is on TV from NBC. The game has the Packers coming in after snapping a two game losing streak and it will be from Lambeau Field starting at 8:30 pm ET for the NFC North division battle.

The Bears are hanging around in the NFC playoff race, while the Packers now are leading the North division after a win against the Minnesota Vikings. The Packers now have the chance to get things going in the division with a victory here and the Bears will be looking to rebound after a loss last week against the Broncos. The Bears are expecting to get Matt Forte back, while the Packers have Eddie Lacy set to play a second straight game after missing out the previous week.

Forte is returning from a knee injury, but according to NFL.com, the Bears expect to use Jeremy Langford in the rushing game as well. Langford has played well while Forte has been injured and John Fox may want to use some of that explosiveness with Forte just coming back after being out. The Packers are retiring Brett Favre's number on Thursday night and that adds some excitement to the mix for Green Bay.

Eddie Lacy had 100 yards last week for his best game of the season and he should get the chance to be the lead back again after losing some touches to James Starks. The Packers defense rebounded against the run with a solid game on Adrian Peterson, limiting him to less than 50 yards and the team will try and do the same against the Bears.

The Packers have won the last four games against the Bears and overall 10 of the last 11 matchups and this one being in Green Bay makes it tougher for Chicago to break the streak. The Packers have Jared Abbrederis and Ty Montgomery out for the game, while Martellus Bennett and Eddie Royal are out for the Bears. Matt Forte and Alshon Jeffery are expected to play, but they come into the game listed as questionable.

Aaron Rodgers has played very well over his career with the Bears and he will have another chance to pad his stats on Thursday night. Rodgers has only lost three times in 16 games against the Bears and over that stretch he has thrown 34 touchdowns and just two interceptions.
