The Kansas City Chiefs have Charcandrick West dealing with a hamstring injury and heading into Week 12, Spencer Ware is a solid fantasy football start option for team owners. The Chiefs are the hottest team in the NFL and Ware is a good pick along with Travis Kelce and Jeremy Maclin for Alex Smith as the team takes on the Buffalo Bills.

West has played well coming in for the injured Jamaal Charles this season, but he had to leave the game on Sunday with a hamstring injury. Ware was brought into the game and had a strong performance, rushing for 96 yards and two touchdowns and now he could be in line to start if West has to miss time. According to ESPN.com, head coach Andy Reid said that West was "day to day," but hamstring injuries can linger and that could keep out West for this week.

Ware had 11 rushes in the game and had one reception to put up over 100 total yards and with how the Chiefs are playing, he is worth a look for fantasy owners. The Chiefs are right in the middle of the AFC playoff race after starting the season 1-5 and now the team is 5-5 after winning four straight games. The team has been outscoring teams by 22 points over this streak and despite a tough matchup with the Bills, the Chiefs offense could be productive for fantasy owners.

The Chiefs may be cautious with West after the hamstring injury and that could give Ware the chance to start in Week 12. Losing Charles was a major blow for the team, but the Chiefs have played better without him after starting off with just one win over the first six games and now the team has the chance to keep things going down the back stretch of the season. Ware is back with the team after being put on the practice squad to start the season and now he could start splitting time with West if he keeps playing at a high level.

Alex Smith has been putting up some very solid numbers this season and he comes in after completing 20-of-25 passes for 253 yards against the Chargers. West has 10 touchdowns and three interceptions this season while throwing for 2426 yards and he is worth starting in Week 12 for fantasy owners in need of a quarterback. Ware is worth picking up in deeper leagues and for owners of West, while players like Jeremy Maclin and Travis Kelce also could be solid start options this weekend.

Kelce is one of the best fantasy TE options this season and he comes in with 50 catches for 620 yards and three touchdowns this year. Kelce had five catches on seven targets last week and he had a touchdown from Smith, but it was called back on a replay. Maclin has 48 catches this season for 612 yards and while he had to leave the game on Sunday after taking a big hit, he was able to return and is on track to play this weekend.
