Notre Dame and Pittsburgh are playing on the college football schedule on Saturday from Heinz Field and the game is on ABC starting at 12 pm ET. The Fighting Irish come into the game ranked in the top 10 and the Panthers will be looking to pull the upset at home against Brian Kelly.
The Irish are 7-1 this season and come in after coming in fifth in the College Football Playoff rankings released last week. Notre Dame has only lost one game this season and that was against Clemson, who comes in at the top of the rankings for this week. If Notre Dame wins out against Pitt, Wake Forest, Boston College and Stanford, they should end up in the mix for the title.
Pitt comes in after losing against North Carolina and they have Duke, Louisville and Miami to end the schedule for the season. Pitt had won four in a row before losing to the Tar Heels and now they host number five Notre Dame. The Irish come in after a win against Temple that stayed close until the end and DeShone Kizer was able to overcome some turnovers to help win the game. Kizer comes in with 1669 passing yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while CJ Prosise has been leading with 947 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns. The games between Pitt and Notre Dame
