The Buffalo Bulls and West Virginia Mountaineers are playing live on the NCAA Tournament schedule on Friday in the Midwest region and the March Madness game is live streaming from the main tourney website from Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio in a 12-seed against a 5-seed game and this could be ripe for an upset.

The coaches come in with high profiles in Bobby Hurley and Bob Huggins and now the players will take the court in a game many see as an upset special. President Obama even picked Buffalo and the MAC team now has the chance to make some noise. The Thursday matchups saw some major upsets, including two 14-seed teams win in UAB and Georgia State.

West Virginia comes in after losing against Baylor in the Big 12 tourney and they have Devin Williams leading the way, as he is second in scoring and first in rebounding for the team. Williams comes in after scoring 18 point and grabbing five boards in that game and now the team plays against upstart Buffalo. The 12-5 games usually have some drama and there are usually at least one or two upsets and this could be one of those games, even with West Va having a strong season. The team won 23 games and lost nine, but they were just 11-7 in their conference. The Big 12 was one of the tougher conferences this year and that could help the team in the tournament.

The Mountaineers come in averaging 73 points per game this season and they are ranked in the top 50 in assists. Towards the end of the season the team won three games in a row, but they finished losing three of four, including two matchups with Baylor and one against Kansas. The team was one of five ranked teams in the conference and they will be looking to avoid busting brackets with an upset here against Buffalo.

Buffalo comes in after winning over Central Michigan in the MAC tourney and they come in after also going 23-9 on the season and they went 12-6 in their conference. The team averages 75 points per game this season on offense and they were 16th in rebounding and that should make them a tough matchup for West Virginia. The team has won eight games in a row and they have some support behind them in this matchup, although all the teams in the Midwest bracket are likely hopeless, as undefeated Kentucky is also in that region.
