NIT Tournament 2015 Schedule: Bracket, Start Time, TV Channel For National Invitational

The 2015 NIT Tournament is set to begin this week along with the NCAA Tournament and the National Invitational will be on TV from various ESPN channels as teams like Pittsburgh, Bucknell, Montana, Tulsa, UTEP, Old Dominion, George Washington, Connecticut, Arizona State and Texas A&M try and win it out.

The NIT is the second of the two big tournaments in college basketball and this year the bracket opens up with games on March 17 and 18. The games on Tuesday include coverage on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3 online and on ESPNU as Rhode Island takes on Iona and Miami plays North Carolina Central at 7 pm ET. Pitt is one of the more high profile teams in the tournament and they are playing against George Washington, while Louisiana Tech and Central Michigan are matching up at 7:30 pm ET. Tulsa matches up with William & Mary at 8:15 pm ET on Tuesday and after that it will be Illinois and Alabama at 9 pm ET on ESPN.

The coverage continues all night with Murray State and UTEP playing on ESPN2, while Texas A&M and Montana are playing at 9 pm ET on ESPNU. The final game of the night includes Stanford and UC Davis matching up at 11 pm ET on ESPN2. The rest of the first round schedule continues with Temple and Bucknell and that will be on Wednesday at 7 pm ET and the matchup is on ESPN3 for coverage.

Connecticut and Arizona State are playing in a high profile matchup of teams and that will be on ESPN2 starting at 7 pm ET on Wednesday. Old Dominion and Charleston Southern are on the schedule at 7:15 pm ET, while Richmond and St. Francis are playing at 7:30 pm ET. Illinois State and Green Bay play ahead of Saint Mary's and Vanderbilt, while Colorado State and South Dakota State finishes off things on Wednesday.

The NIT tournament will start on campus sites at first and that will have Rounds 1-3 before the final four and championship at MSG. There will be 32 teams in the tournament and the finals will be from Madison Square Garden in New York City and that will be on April 2.
