The Miami Dolphins made a big splash this offseason with Ndamukong Suh and now the team may turn its attention to players like Andre Johnson, CJ Spiller, Michael Crabtree, Darren McFadden, Walter Thurmond and Cecil Shorts could be potential targets if the team makes a trade with Mike Wallace after the team let go of Dannell Ellerbe, Brian Hartline and Brandon Gibson.

The Dolphins missed the playoffs once again last season and now with Suh in the fold, there will be immense pressure to get back into the AFC postseason in 2015. Ryan Tannehill is coming off of the best season of his career and the Dolphins are hoping that he continues to develop into a top 10 quarterback. According to Yahoo Sports, the Dolphins are one of a number of teams interested in CJ Spiller and this comes as the team is set to have Knowshon Moreno and Daniel Thomas hit free agency.

UPDATE: Andre Johnson signs with the Colts. Jordan Cameron is signing a deal with the Browns. The Dolphins are working to sign Charles Clay. The Dolphins have signed Jordan Cameron, Charles Clay is a target for the Bills and Dolphins. Darren McFadden is signing with the Dallas Cowboys.

The Dolphins cut Brian Hartline and Brandon Gibson loose for salary cap space this offseason and that could lead the team to look at receivers in free agency. The team may have chased Randall Cobb or Jeremy Maclin, but those two already agreed to deals, with Cobb staying in Green Bay and Maclin joining the Chiefs. Andre Johnson was just released by the Houston Texans and could be a potential target, while Michael Crabtree is not expected to come back to the San Francisco 49ers.

Johnson was released by the Texans after the team couldn't find a trade for the receiver and now the team frees up over $8 million on the salary cap. Johnson counted for nearly $20 million on the cap overall over the next two years and at 34 years old, the Texans felt it was time to move on. Johnson said to the media that he expects to find a new team and Pro Football Talk reports that the Colts, Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks and Cleveland Browns could be potential landing spots.

The Colts are expected to be active in free agency and after the team opted to not bring back Reggie Wayne, players like Johnson, Michael Crabtree and Cecil Shorts could be options. The Colts are expected to be an option for Spiller if the team doesn't add DeMarco Murray and they also could be in play for Frank Gore if he opts to not sign with the Eagles. Last season the Dolphins went 8-8 and they are likely expecting to be in playoff contention with Suh signing on.

Suh signed a record deal with the Dolphins, as ESPN.com reports that he will be getting $114 million over six seasons with $60 million guaranteed. Suh is now the top paid defensive player in football and his signing with the Dolphins became expected once the two sides were able to start talking. Suh comes in after recording 8.5 sacks last season and he is considered to be the top player at his position in the league. Suh helped the Lions rank number one in rush defense last season and now the Dolphins are hoping he can give Tom Brady headaches.
