Martin St. Louis #26 of the New York Rangers celebrates his team's first goal against the Tampa Bay Lightning at the Amalie Arena on November 26, 2014 in Tampa, Florida. "

The New York Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers are playing on the NHL schedule on Saturday and the game from Madison Square Garden in NY starts up at 1 pm ET as the rivals finish a home and home back to back at MSG and it comes after NYR won the first game.

The Rangers come in after a win against the Flyers and after this they will host the Lightning after losing to them in Tampa last week. The Rangers come in at 10th in the league in goals per game and Rick Nash has been one of the main reasons why. Nash comes in leading the team in scoring and goals and he has been playing how they expected him to after signing him to a massive deal. The Rangers are third in the metro division and they come in after making the Stanley Cup finals last year. The Flyers have been scuffling a bit and now these two rivals face off again after the Cam Talbot shutout on Friday.

The Rangers have 24 points on the season and they have started to play better than earlier in the year, but they need to get more consistent on the offensive end. Martin St. Louis became the fifth player with 1,000 points after being undefeated and he got that against the Flyers after scoring a goal and adding an assist for the Rangers against Philly in the first game on Friday.

The Flyers have the San Jose Sharks next and they come in after a 3-0 loss and they are 23rd in goals against this season. The team is ranked ninth in power play percentage and they are 8-11-3 this year. The Rangers have won nine straight games in the regular season at home against Flyers and they have been dominant in these matchups and now is another chance to add one. Nash and Dan Boyle had goals for the Rangers against Philly and Derek Stepan added three assists in the game.

Talbot was in goal for the Rangers so that the team could use Henrik Lundqvist on Saturday and they also saw Ryan McDonagh return after dealing with a shoulder injury. Getting the captain back has been huge and the Flyers come in not playing well at all, as they have just one win over their last stretch of games and are 1-6-1 in that time and they have scored just 14 goals in that period. Steve Mason has been beaten by the Rangers and now they matchup again after playing the team last year and winning in the playoffs in the seven game series.
