The NBA season is starting up on Tuesday night and heading into the 2014-15 campaign, there are a number of players that could be on the trading block and some names include Josh Smith, Jeff Green, Rajon Rondo, Dion Waiters, LaMarcus Aldridge, Zach Randolph, George Hill, David West, Klay Thompson, Amar'e Stoudemire and Andrea Bargnani and rumors could start up early this year.

The Celtics will have a decision to make with Rajon Rondo and while he may not be traded, there is a good chance he comes up in rumors. Rondo already did this summer with the Kings and teams like the Lakers, Knicks and Rockets all will be interested in him. According to Pro Basketball Talk, the Celtics want to see if Rondo can stay healthy this season after coming back and playing 30 games last year following his ACL surgery, while Rondo wants to see where the team is at before making a major decision on an extension.

The Pacers have West, Roy Hibbert and George Hill as potential trade pieces and that likely will depend on how the team does without Paul George. The team added Rodney Stuckey in the offseason and lost Lance Stephenson and that could lead to a trade for some reinforcements. Hibbert had a terrible postseason and someone could look to buy low on him, while West is older but is a better player right now and could be a target for playoff teams.

Thompson and Aldridge are in the category of yes they will come up in rumors, but their teams will not look to trade them. Both are set to get some money and while they will get targeted, the Warriors and the Blazers have plans on resigning their star players. Aldridge has been the subject of trade rumors numerous times while the Blazers were bad, while Thompson came up this offseason while the Warriors were talking on the Kevin Love trade.

Josh Smith is a name that will come up this year and that comes after he was shopped hard this offseason. The Pistons want to keep Greg Monroe and moving Smith will be part of that and the Kings look like a team that is interested in him. The Pistons and Kings talked about a deal this summer, but noting went down and things could pick up at the deadline again.

The Cavaliers have Dion Waiters and Tristan Thompson as potential options to trade and this comes as they have built a super team with LeBron James. Thompson is coming up to contract time and that could lead to a deal, while Waiters has potential and could be a target for teams. The Cavs like Timofey Mozgov to shore up their defense and that could be a move down the line for the Cavaliers.

Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol are names that also could come up this season, as they are both heading towards free agency and if things don't great in Memphis they could get moved. Gasol will not sign an extension and he is looking to hit the market and teams like the Knicks and Celtics have already said they will be interested in him according to sources.
