The LA Dodgers and Chicago Cubs are playing live on the MLB schedule and the game is in Los Angeles from Dodger Stadium and the matchup starts past 10:10 pm ET and comes as the Cubs are out of things and LA is leading the west division and they are putting up Dan Haren on the mound against Kyle Hendricks.
Haren has been roughed up lately and the Cubs could be just what he needs, as he has had a near 10.00 ERA and has lost four games in a row. Haren returns home after three of four on the road and this comes as the Cubs will miss Clayton Kershaw in the rotation after he pitched yet another complete game.
The Dodgers have a top 10 offense and they are ranked ninth in the league in runs and seventh in batting average, while the team is also fifth in on base percentage. The pitching has been stellar and the team is fifth in ERA and third in quality starts and eighth in WHIP and BAA.
