The Baltimore Orioles and LA Angels are playing live on the MLB schedule on Monday night as they start an important AL series and it will be at Angel Stadium in Anaheim starting up at 10:05 pm ET and these two teams are in playoff position as the second half continues and Los Angeles comes in after a walk-off win against the Seattle Mariners.
The Orioles have a chance to make or break their division lead, as they are in the middle of playing 16 games against the top teams in the AL west and those three are in playoff position right now. The Mariners are playing the Mets and the Athletics come in playing very well and so are the Angels and that makes this series very important for both teams. The Angels are less than two games back now after their strong streak and the Orioles are coming into the series before playing against the Mariners.
The Angels and Mariners will be in Baltimore leading down the stretch and the team now is trying to hang on in the AL East over the Yankees and the Blue Jays. The Yankees swept the Reds this past weekend and the Orioles got beat up by Oakland and now they will try and recover against LA and Bud Norris will be on the mound against Matt Shoemaker and those two will be on the mound and he has been pitching very well between the bullpen and rotation.
The Angels have been one of the best home teams in baseball and they have the top record and LA has been hot and they have 30 games they have won on comebacks and they are a team to watch in the American League. The Angels have been strong all season on offense, ranking first in runs, third in batting average and slugging and second in on base percentage. The team is coming off of a comeback win against the Mariners and now they matchup with the Orioles.
