Ricky Barnes is live on the PGA Leaderboard at the PGA Tour Greenbrier Classic and here he hits his tee shot on the second hole during the second round of the Quicken Loans National golf tournament at Congressional Country Club - Blue Course. "

The PGA Tour Leaderboard is live from the Greenbrier Classic at Old White in West Virginia and the live stream coverage is online while the golf scores heading into the second round as the first round gets underway has Jonas Blixt in the early lead ahead of names like Marc Leishman, Ricky Barnes, Steve Stricker, David Love III, John Daly and DA Points on Thursday before the Friday round.

Tiger Woods is not competing here and he is getting ready for the Open Championships and that comes after he missed the cut last week at Congressional in his first action back from his back surgery. Woods was rusty, but he said he felt good and while missing the cut is never a positive thing, Woods said he was optimistic about his game and that he had no physical issues after playing two rounds and that is a good thing heading into the Open Championship. Many thought Woods would be out for the entire season after getting injured, but now he has come back and there is a major championship on the horizon for him.

Woods missed the cut by four shots at Congressional after getting off to a rough start in the first round and that left Justin Rose to win in a playoff. Woods was fairly accurate on his drives and was solid with his putter at times, but he made too many mistakes and could not close things back in the second round and that led to his missing of the cut. Woods was out for three months and missed two majors with the Masters and the US Open and now he is looking towards the Open Championship and the PGA Championship to try and break his major streak.

Woods has won before at Royal Liverpool and that is going to be a challenge if he plays like he did at Congressional, as that is a very tough competition. Woods came back for the Quicken Loans tournament for a couple reasons, including that his foundation was part of it and also because he wanted some action this year on top of the four tournaments from earlier in the season before heading into the Open Championship.

The year this season compared to last year has been totally different for Woods, as he won three times ahead of the Masters and five times overall and took back his number one ranking, but now he has slipped back. Woods lost the number one rank to Adam Scott and after winning five times last year on tour, he hasn't even come close to getting a win this year. It was just the 10th time that Woods missed a cut after 36 holes and while that was disappointing, Woods looked on the bright side after heading home. Woods now has the chance to stay in the mix at the Open and he said that he is confident coming into the event and should be able to compete.
