Colombia and Uruguay are playing on the World Cup 2014 schedule for the knockout round last 16 on Saturday and the game is live at 4 pm ET on ABC and WatchESPN with a live stream and the Spanish coverage is from Univision at the Estádio do Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro as the elimination stage begins in Brazil.

Colombia comes into the matchup playing very well and they are favored over Uruguay since they will be playing without their best player after Luis Suarez was suspending. Suarez was suspended for biting an opposing player in the game against Italy and now Colombia will be looking to continue their strong play through to the next round. Colombia was one of a few teams that advanced while winning all three games and they scored nine goals and they will need to keep that up in this stage to make a deep run.

There are four South American teams in the tournament left and one is at least guaranteed to get to the semifinals because of the draw, with Brazil, Chile, Uruguay and Colombia all advancing out of the group stages. Brazil won against Chile and now they are through after a penalty shootout and of course it was Neymar who got the team through. James Rodriguez is just 22 years old and he has stepped up into the void for the team and he will have a bright future in World Cup play for his nation and Uruguay will need Gaston Ramirez, who is the same age, to be a solid player for the team. He will be the main to step up for Luis Suarez and he will have to be a star for the team to advance.

Colombia and Uruguay are two of the three South American teams left after Brazil defeated Chile in an intense game that went into a penalty shootout and now those are the last ones left for the host continent. The World Cup has been an exciting affair through the group stage and now it's into the knockout stages and now these two teams are matching up to try and advance to face off against Brazil.

The rest of the knockout stage will be intense as well and the Netherlands, France, Brazil and Argentina come in as the favorites and they try and get through to the next round. The United States is still alive and while they likely will not win the Cup, they can win against Belgium and they have shown that they at least belong here and they set a mark with this being the first time the team has advanced into the knockout stages two times in a row. Having Suarez out will make it nearly impossible for Uruguay to win the World Cup, but they played the first game without him and managed to advance and they still can win this game with talented player Gaston Ramirez coming in for Suarez.
