The College World Series 2014 is live from Omaha on ESPN with NCAA tournament baseball as Mississippi and Virginia play a possible elimination game from TD Ameritrade Park and the matchup is streaming live on the WatchESPN website starting at 8 pm ET on TV from ESPN2 and is part of the Final Four of the CWS.

Mississippi and TCU are playing for the chance to move on and this is an elimination game and comes after the matchup between Texas and UC Irvine. The Anteaters are done after a great run and the Longhorns were able to get in through a 1-0 game at the CWS and that is a rarity and now they are through and are looking very strong in this matchup. Irvine was one of the last four teams in and they were able to beat some big names, including Oregon State and Oklahoma State and now they are done after winning first against Texas 3-1 in the CWS opener for the teams.

The CWS had a big home run drought and Texas stopped that and it ended up being the biggest run of the game. The CWS has been intense and dramatic and now the teams will matchup on Thursday to see who will keep things rolling. The game on Wednesday saw Texas win over UC Irvine and that was a tight matchup, as the Longhorns won by the score of 1-0 and now they advance and will play against Vanderbilt.

The matchup against Vandy comes at 3 pm ET on Friday and that matchup will be a big one, while TCU and Mississippi are playing to see who will play against Virginia. The top seeds are through and Vandy has been waiting for their opponent, while Virginia comes in after playing a very close game in extra winnings with TCU. Mississippi won over Texas Tech and that put the team in this matchup and now TCU and Ole Miss will matchup for the chance to see who plays against the Cavaliers and they have been one of the strongest teams in the tournament.

The NCAA baseball tournament started up with 64 teams and now there are just a few left and heading into the championship series some of the schools are playing very well. USC Irvine came in as one of the last teams to make it into the tournament and they made it all the way here before losing to Texas. The Longhorns knocked out Louisville in their matchup to keep their College World Series pain going and they have been one of the best teams historically in the tournament and could play that out again.
