The NBA draft for 2014 is nearly here and as it gets closer trade rumors will continue to pop up and teams like the LA Lakers, Boston Celtics, Philadelphia Sixers, Milwaukee Bucks, Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic could be trading picks for the chance to take players like Andrew Wiggins, Joel Embiid, Jabari Parker or Julius Randle this summer.

The Cavaliers have the number one overall pick and they could be in the mix for Kevin Love and that likely means the top pick would be traded if that deal went down with the Timberwolves. According to ESPN.com, the Cavaliers have already received numerous calls about the first overall pick and unless they trade for Love or a player comparable to that, they likely will sit tight and keep the pick. This year the draft class is very deep and there is prime talent at the top as well with Wiggins, Parker and Embiid.

Pro Basketball Talk reports that Embiid right now is the number one pick in the eyes of the Cavaliers, but that could change with more workouts heading into the draft. Coming into the season, Wiggins and Parker were considered to be the top two prospects and now Embiid has closed the gap a bit since he is more of a finished product. The Sixers have been looking at Wiggins as their major target and reports have the team willing to trade up to number one to get him.

The Cavaliers won the draft lottery for the second year in a row and after taking Anthony Bennett last season the team needs to make sure it hits on this pick. It could be too early to call Bennett a bust, but last season he was horrible and he will need to bounce back to justify that pick and now the Cavs have pressure to make sure this one is a hit. This year it may not be so tough since there is so much talent in the draft, but they can't afford to get set back any more years, especially with Kyrie Irving nearing free agency soon and he will be the main priority for the team to keep.

The Cavaliers won the pick despite tough odds and a team like the Pelicans may look at trading into the first round, while the Chicago Bulls are also rumored to be moving up. The first six picks should be very good and the Lakers and Celtics have picks within that range in the top 10 and they are lining up to get some good players as well. Marcus Smart and Aaron Gordon could be picks at those spots and the teams are looking to add starters and premier prospects this offseason.

The future other Cavaliers and a team like the Bucks could depend on this pick and keeping Irving is not sure thing and the Cavs also feel like they can bring back LeBron James if they get this right. The Kevin Love trade rumors could have an impact on the top 10, as some of those teams feel that they are in the mix and could deal their pick to the Timberwolves to get that trade done.
