Croatia and Australia are playing live on the World Cup schedule for a friendly on Friday night and the match comes live streaming online from Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador in Brazil, as both teams are ready to play in the Cup and it starts up at 7 pm ET and gives the two sides a chance to finish off their training to get fir for the start of the tourney, which Croatia will be a part of since they play the host nation in the first game.

Australia manager Ange Postecoglou and captain Mile Jedinak said that the team is ready to get things going and that they are honored to be in the tournament field. The team does not play European teams that much and they said that the experience will be good since they have a very tough group coming up for the tournament and they are hoping to surprise some people as they play out their schedule in Brazil. The team has the defending champions in their Group with Spain as well as Chile and the Netherlands and that will make for a tough draw to get into the knockout stages.

The team starts off with Chile and then plays the Netherlands and that match will be at Porto Alegre and comes before the team finishes off against Spain. Croatia opens the schedule against Brazil for the first match and that will be at Sao Paulo and then the team plays against Cameroon at Manaus in the Arena Amazonia and that means some tough travel for the team and then they will finish off against Mexico in their final match on the group schedule and the Mexico side will have to play without one of their best players after he broke a leg from the Ecuador match.

Croatia gets the distinction of opening the entire World Cup with Brazil and that game will be the first for the two teams and the first of the tournament. Brazil is a favorite for the Cup along with Spain, Germany and Argentina and teams like the Netherlands as well as Portugal and England also have high hopes for the tournament. Spain won the World Cup in 2010 and also the Euro and now they ate trying for the rare feat of winning it all again. The group A set has Brazil with Croatia, Mexico and Cameroon and while that isn't the toughest group in the tournament, it will not be an easy one to advance out of.

The World Cup begins next week and the group of death has the United State, Ghana, Germany and Portugal. Germany is one of the favorites and Portugal may have to play without Ronaldo.
