Dallas Cowboys Rumors: LaMichael James Trade Option As Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns Interested In San Francisco 49ers Draft Deal?

The Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears could be interested in a draft trade for LaMichael James with the San Francisco 49ers and other teams like the Cleveland Browns and the Atlanta Falcons also could be interested in a deal and this comes after the Bears picked Kyle Fuller in the first round of the draft, while the 'Boys went for Zack Martin after flirting with Johnny Manziel in the first round at number 16.

The 49ers have been interested in moving James for some time and now that the first round is over, the team could look to make a move on the second day of the draft or during the final day on Saturday. According to ESPN.com, the Niners are interested in a number of receivers in the draft and if some of those names start flying off the board, they could look to trade up to get one and they have James as an option along with double digit draft picks after using their number 30 pick in the first round on Thursday night.

The Bears went defense for their first round pick and they took Kyle Fuller at cornerback and that came after the team gave up a record amount of yards through the air last season. One reason Marc Trestman could look at James as an option is that the team needs a solid backup behind Matt Forte after losing Michael Bush, while they also need a new return man with Devin Hester gone and James has shown that he has explosive speed on special teams. The Bears had a number of players they were targeting in the first round and after Aaron Donald and Odell Beckham went off the board, the team stuck with Fuller.

James could be an option for the Cowboys as well, as they added Zack Martin in the first round and are looking to add more behind DeMarco Murray at some point in the draft. James could be very good on the turf at Jerry's World and they need help on special teams as well. The bears liked what they saw in Fuller at Virginia Tech and that came after he started all but eight of 50 games while he was there and that experience will help as the team comes back from giving up nearly 30 points per game last season. Aaron Rodgers and Matthew Stafford are in the division and having another young corner could be huge for that in the future.

James has not been able to crack the rotation much for the Niners and that is why he was put on the block in the first place. James has great speed and can catch the ball out of the backfield and that is something the Bears like to do with their backs and with Matt Forte carrying the heavy load, this could help take some of that off his shoulders.
