The EPL table standings has Liverpool in first place and they are tops in the English Premier League title standings over Chelsea and Manchester city and those three clubs are in line for the Barclays Trophy and championship this year in the 2013-14 season and comes after the Blues won over the Reds at Anfield on the schedule on Sunday and Man City won as well to keep things close.

Liverpool needed seven points over their final three matches to win the EPL title and after losing to Chelsea on Sunday at home all of that is now in question. Many felt the Reds would win since they had taken 11 straight EPL matches and had only given up five points at home and with Chelsea playing the Champions League this week some felt it wouldn't be a strong squad, but that ended up wrong and now the Blues are right back in the title mix.

Jose Mourinho had his team ready to play and after the team lost at home to Sunderland, many thought they were done for and now they are just two points back with two matches left to play on the schedule. Man City is just three points back and one point back of the Blues and that comes after they won over the weekend and they have a match in hand and that could be crucial for the team down the stretch. Man City has the chance to amass more points and that could put them in first place and that would be a stinging fall for Liverpool, who looked like they had things locked up when Chelsea lost.

Luis Suarez is the leading scorer in the EPL and Liverpool has been the highest scoring team in the league and now they have to pull together to stay ahead and finish things off right. Arsenal comes into Monday 10 points back and they can get that closer with a win on Monday and that will be big, as they are just one point up on Everton. The Gunners are in Champions League qualification and they would like to stay in that position.

Liverpool has two matches left the next one is a visit to Selhurst Park to play against Crystal Palace and then the team has a match at Anfield against Newcastle and that could end up being for the title depending on how things play out. Chelsea has the chance in their second leg to move on in the Champions League and that is on Tuesday and then the team finishes at home with Norwich City and away against Cardiff City. Man City comes in against Everton on Saturday and then the team has home matches to end the year against Aston Villa and West Ham and that could give them enough to win out.
