The EPL table has Chelsea in first place heading into the week and the English Premier League standings are tight as the Manchester Derby comes up on Tuesday with Manchester United hosting Manchester City at Old Trafford, while Arsenal and Everton fight to stay around the top 5 with their matches on the fixture schedule.

Chelsea remains in first place after the results this weekend and they will be in the lead when things pick up next week, as they currently have a four point lead over Liverpool heading into the back stretch. The most anticipated matchup of the week comes with the Manchester Derby and both Man City and Man United will be looking to win, especially after City got the victory at the Etihad Stadium earlier in the season. City is six points back of Chelsea and to pull closer they will need to win on the road, as the Derby heads to Old Trafford and United comes in playing very well, as they have taken the last two matches by the scores of 5-0 combined after winning over Olympiakos and West Ham United.

Wayne Rooney will be looking to lead United once again on Tuesday and they have a ton of ground to cover if they want to move up the table and close to the top five, as they are three points back of Everton, who is in the sixth position ahead of them. Chelsea has been dominant at home and they come into the week after a huge victory against Arsenal and that was a 6-0 game at Stamford Bridge, where the team has not lost this season on the schedule. Liverpool has been playing very well and they scored six goals over the weekend to keep pace and now they are just four points back in second place. Luis Suarez continued his scoring onslaught with three more goals and he is the leader in the EPL.

Manchester City sits just behind the Reds in the standings and they jumped over Arsenal after their dominating win over the weekend and they are close to the top of things as well, sitting just one point back of Liverpool. Man City has an advantage over the other clubs, as they have played only 28 matches and that gives them three in hand against Chelsea and that could come into play as the back stretch of the season plays out.

Arsenal has been struggling of late and they have the chance to get back into things this week as well and they are leading over Tottenham and Everton coming into play on Tuesday. Manchester United and Manchester Coty are the top matches on the day and they start things off at Old Trafford, while Arsenal has Swansea City at home and that will be at Emirates Stadium, while Newcastle and Everton play at St. James Park and all the matches start up at 8:45 pm local time. Wednesday also has matches with Liverpool playing Sunderland and West Ham playing against Hull City.
