Aaron Hernandez, former player for the NFL's New England Patriots football team, arrives in the courtroom for his arraignment in Fall River, Massachusetts in this file photo taken September 6, 2013. Hernandez, charged with shooting a friend to death last year, was involved in a Massachusetts jailhouse scuffle with another inmate that left neither man seriously injured, law enforcement officials said on Wednesday. "

Aaron Hernandez was moved into isolation after his jailhouse fight and now his girlfriend and fiancé Shayanna Jenkins and baby Avielle Janelle may not get to visit him for a bit and this comes as his next court date for the murder trial of Odin Lloyd is expected to come during the summer in Fall River Superior court.

Hernandez was involved in a fight last week with another inmate in jail and reports from CNN.com wrote that he beat up the other inmate after being taunted repeatedly by him. According to SI.com, Hernandez will now be in isolation for 30 days and that came after Sheriff Thomas Hodgson said that there was a breakdown in protocols at the jail, as Hernandez should not have been out of his restraints at the time he was and he should not have been in a hallway with another inmate.

TMZ reported the news about the fight and while the jail did not offer and official statement about what exactly occurred, the TMZ.com report said that Hernandez was the one who won the fight and came after the inmate had continued to taunt Hernandez for a number of days and the inmate was restrained in his cuffs during the fight.

It's unclear whether Hernandez's girlfriend and baby have been to visit recently, as Jenkins is dealing with a perjury charge against her that could offer her a stiff sentence if it is upheld. Hernandez was moved to a new cell for the time being and according to NECN.com, it is a small room with a double bed, small steel toilet and an area to sit and after previously being able to eat alone in the cafeteria, he now has to be in the cell for 23 hours per day. The isolation allows for one hour a day out and that includes three showers per week and he is also allowed rec time. Lawyer visits and phone calls are allowed, but jail visits may be on hold until he is moved again.

Hernandez will face a trial later this year most likely and the next court date for him doesn't come until the summer in June. Hernandez is also dealing with more issues, as the families of Daniel Abreu and Safiro Furtado have sued him and this comes after he was tied to a double murder from 2012. That murder remains unsolved and while he has not been officially charged, he appears to be a person of interest connected to the case.
