Seattle Sounders star Clint Dempsey is poised to make a return to Fulham in the English Premier League on loan from his MLS club, but there is a chance that he could end up with West Ham United or Stoke City in the English Premier League.

Dempsey previously played for Fulham years ago when he moves to England for the first time and he later ended up playing for Tottenham before leaving to join the Seattle Sounder in the MLS. The American league is now done for the season and as the World Cup approaches, Dempsey would like to get back into action at the highest levels of soccer. The Sounders deal in the MLS allows Dempsey to return to England to help with his preparations for the World Cup in Brazil and with the US playing a group of death with Ghana, Germany and Portugal, the more experience he gets the better.

According to ESPNFC.com, reports say that Stoke and West Ham could go after Dempsey as well and it is likely he will be back with Fulham. Dempsey scored 50 goals with the club and helped them to some success before falling back in the EPL this year and they currently are in 19th and in the relegation zone. Tottenham has fared better and they are in seventh, but they just sacked their manager and had an embarrassing loss last weekend.
