The fantasy football schedule is moving towards the playoffs and that makes every player and every point crucial for team owners and heading into Week 14, some of the best fantasy sleepers and free agent picks at the RB position are LeGarrette Blount, Montee Ball, Shane Vereen, Danny Woodhead and Giovani Bernard.

The Patriots had Stevan Ridley sit out due to his fumbling issues and while that may mean less carries in the future when he returns for Shane Vereen and LeGarrette Blount, both could be sleeper options going forward. Montee Ball is a player that seems to have a nose for the endzone, while Woodhead is great option for teams in PPR leagues. Bernard has been one of the most consistent rookies in fantasy football this season and the Bengals have continued to rush the ball plenty and that could make him a star down the stretch for owners.

Vereen has been excellent since coming back from his wrist injury and PPR owners have been taking notice, as he already has 28 catches for 220 yards in just four games this season. Last week Vereen rushed for 31 yards and had eight catches and in the win over Houston, Vereen had the most snaps of any Patriots running back with 41 and he ended up with 38 yards on 10 carries to go with five catches for 37 yards and for PPR owners, he is an excellent choice for the rest of the season. Vereen should continue getting plenty of touches as long as he stays healthy and even with Ridley likely coming back, Vereen has shown that he is more than a runner and he will likely not suffer too much from having him play as well.

Blount likely will be the one to suffer when Ridley comes back, but he ran hard and was on the field for 20 snaps and Brandon Bolden is the one to get pushed back the most. Blount had 44 yards on the day and averaged nearly four yards per carry and he also scored a touchdown and that has been a valuable skill for the Pats, as he has two in the past four weeks.

Montee Ball had a huge game against the Kansas City Chiefs and even with Knowshon Moreno taking over as the starter, he has established himself as a legitimate option for the team. Ball had 117 yards on just 17 carries and had a 45 yards run in the game and he averaged nearly 10 yards per carry and was very impressive., Moreno had over 200 yards last week and was limited to 18 and now the Broncos have two backs with the potential to break out and adding that to the mix with Peyton Manning is massive.

Woodhead had a down game from last week when he had two touchdowns total, but he had 22 yards on seven carries and 13 yards on two catches and he should be a good option heading down the line the rest of the season. Woodhead and Bernard were in the same game on Sunday and Bernard ended up besting him with 14 carries for 57 yards and he also added one catch for nine yards and he is a consistent option for later on in the season.
