The Seattle Seahawks have been the best team in the NFL and the NFC this season and in Week 13 on the schedule the team has Monday night football at home against the New Orleans Saints and the ESPN channel broadcast will be live starting up at 8:30 pm and streaming on the WatchESPN website and is from CenturyLink Field in Washington.

The Seahawks have been one of the most consistent teams in the league this season and the offense has been high scoring when it needs to be and the defense has been stout when the games have called for it. This matchup puts the top two teams in the conference together and likely will help decide home field advantage in the playoffs and that could have huge implications, as the Seahawks play much better at home and so do the Saints, as they play in a dome. Drew Brees and the offense has won outdoors before, but they are nowhere near as productive and this game is also a rematch of an intense and memorable playoff game from a few years ago and naturally Marshawn Lynch knows what that means. This season Lynch is having another fantastic season and the Seahawks come into the game rushing for nearly 150 yards per game, ranked third in the league this season.

The Seahawks come into the game very well rested after having a bye week and before that the team defeated the Minnesota Vikings easily and that game marked the return of Percy Harvin to the lineup and that should be huge for Russell Wilson going forward into the playoffs. The team has won six games in a row after opening the season 4-0 and losing to the Indianapolis Colts and the matchup with the Saints is the first in a tough stretch and is the first time the team has played a "great" team since back when they lost to the Colts and they aren't even that "great". The Seahawks will be a bit limited in the secondary after the suspensions handed out to Walter Thurmond and Brandon Browner and now the team faces off against the best passing team in the league and that will make things tough.

After playing the Saints the Seahawks have to travel to play the 49ers in San Francisco and they look like a different team from the one that the Hawks played back in Week 2 and demolished, allowing them to score just three points, but that game was in Seattle and this one will be at Candlestick and comes after Colin Kaepernick had a solid game on Monday night football.

The Seahawks have the Saints at home in Week 13 and then they will hit the road for two straight games against the 49ers and the New York Giants and then they will finish the season with two home games against the Arizona Cardinals and St. Louis Rams in the NFC West division. The Seahawks have the inside track to the division title, but they also have three games within the West to finish the year over the last five weeks. The team is ranked 24th in passing yards and in the top five in rushing and they are also in the top two in the league in passing yards allowed per game.
