The Seattle Seahawks are heading into a hugely important game this season in Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings and for the first time this year the team may have superstar wide receiver Percy Harvin on the field and that is welcome news for fantasy football owners as well as quarterback Russell Wilson.

Head coach Pete Carroll said that he was optimistic about the progress that Harvin had made and it couldn't come at a better time for the Seahawks, as they lost wideout Sidney Rice to a season ending injury a couple weeks ago and now they will add a massively explosive element to the offense. The team has been limited in the passing game this season and now adding Harvin should open things up more for Wilson as well as players like Golden Tate and Doug Baldwin, who have stepped up without Rice and Harvin in the lineup.

Harvin was limited in practice on Wednesday, but he is expected to play and with a bye week coming up after the Vikings game it could be perfect time to get him onto the field to get him back to speed. Wide receivers always need some time to get back to regular game form and getting Harvin onto the field is the first step in that process and it is likely he will have some set amount of snaps if he plays on Sunday. Grabbing Doug Baldwin and Golden Tate is a smart move just in case, but having Harvin should make things good for fantasy owners come the back stretch of the season, especially with Rice out of action.

Last season Harvin made 62 catches for 677 yards and scored three touchdowns before getting injured last season and he was acquired in the offseason for a nice chunk of change from the Seahawks and now they are excited about getting him onto the field for the first time. Harvin had an extra MRI on his hip before being activated to the roster for the Seahawks and this came after he had hip surgery back in August and while it is up in the air for him to start on Sunday, chances are he will be on the field as long as he does not have any setbacks in practice or otherwise before the game on Sunday.

The bye week gives them the chance to have him rest a bit longer, but the team knows that Harvin has been out of action for quite some time and could use to get back on the field to get himself into game shape once again. The Seahawks are 24th ranked in the league in passing yards per game and first in rushing offense and they are heading into a tough stretch, with the New Orleans Saints on Monday night football next and then the team has back to back road games against the San Francisco 49ers and the New York Giants before playing at home against the Arizona Cardinals and the St. Louis Rams to finish the year.
