The fantasy football week is now moving into Week 11 and there are a number of players at the tight end position that can help with teams dealing with the Vernon Davis injury, as names like Delanie Walker, John Carlson, Timothy Wright and Rob Housler all could play big roles down the stretch in 2013 for owners in Yahoo Sports Fantasy Football.

Carlson had his best game of the season on Thursday night in the win for the Vikings against the Washington Redskins, as he came in for the injured Kyle Rudolph and was very solid, making seven catches for nearly 100 yards and he also added a touchdown in the process, his first of the season. Carlson could be a very good option going forward, as the Vikings are a bad team and needs receivers to step up and he had 98 yards and caught all seven of his targets, averaging well over 10 yards per catch and that could help open up the offense for Minnesota.

Carlson was coming off of a nice four catch day against the Cowboys the previous week and before that he has just four combined catches in the past three games. Carlson almost made half of his season catches in the game against the Redskins and now he has 18 catches for 159 yards on the season with 26 targets and the bulk of that has come over the past few weeks and that attention makes him a solid addition going forward. Rudolph could be out for a while and with him having a nice pedigree coming from Seattle, where he caught over 50 passes twice, he has the experience and the drive to be a solid fantasy tight end going on for the rest of the year or until Rudolph is able to return.

Delaine Walker came over and took over for Jared Cook on the Titans and he had his best game in weeks on Sunday, scoring a touchdown fir the fourth time this season and his second time in three games and now he has the chance to be a solid contributor as the season wears on. The team plays against the Colts on Thursday night and the way the season is going for them, Walker could have a nice game and he had a season high 62 yards in the matchup to go along with four catches and eight targets, making a long of 33 and that bodes well for him. Jake Locker getting injured could knock him a bit, but Ryan Fitzpatrick could be good enough to keep the tight end going. Apart from last week, Walker has at least five targets in each of the past four games and that could mean more catches for him going forward.

Timothy Wright and Rob Housler are very solid options as well, with the Cardinals TE getting into the end zone for the first time ever and he also had his best performance with 57 yards in the game on four catches, his most since the seven for 53 he went for against the Seahawks. Wright did not have his best game on Monday with one catch for 19 yards, but he has been very solid for the Bucs and is a good option to add, as he has scored twice in the past three games and over the past two before Monday he had 13 combined targets and could be very solid going forward for Tampa Bay.
