The Dallas Cowboys are now even for the season after a stunning and dramatic loss to the Detroit Lions and now they will play at home at AT&T Stadium on Sunday in Week 9 against the Minnesota Vikings and this comes as the team is in freefall and things will be going live at 1 pm on FOX and streaming on the radio online on NFL.com.

Dallas had a nice run with two wins before losing to the Lions and now they will try and avoid their second two-game losing streak of the season after also losing to both the San Diego Chargers and the Denver Broncos, which was one of the best games of the season. The team is passing the ball well, but the rushing game is ranked in the bottom part of the league and it is at under 85 yards per game with DeMarco Murray having been banged up. The Cowboys were stunned last week and now they have to keep winning to stay ahead in the NFC East over the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins and New York Giants, who have won two straight games to become semi relevant and now the Cowboys have the pressure on them after allowing the Lions to come back and win.

Check here for the Cowboys and Vikings live coverage on Sunday.

Tony Romo has been having a very good season, but the Cowboys have found ways to lose and even though they are leading the division, it doesn't guarantee a playoff appearance and that is obviously what Jerry Jones is hoping for. Dez Bryant was the center of attention after the game for his sideline antics and while his tirade turned out more positive than people previously thought, the team still had to deal with the distraction of it. The Cowboys have wins over the Giants, Rams, Redskins and Eagles this season and that is one reason why they have the edge in the NFC East, but if they can't find ways to win against anyone else, they may not make the postseason once again.

The NFC East may only get one playoff team this season as the division winner and the conference is pretty deep with solid teams at the top. The Green Bay Packers are playing very well despite a slow start and the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints all look like solid playoff contenders this season. The Cowboys are ranked last in the league in passing yards per game and while they are playing a terrible team in the Vikings, that is one area to watch and the team is also ranked in the top 10 themselves in passing yards per game thanks to Romo and his strong play this season.

The San Diego Chargers are playing the Washington Redskins this week and the Skins are coming off of a loss to the Denver Broncos and after getting off to a good start in that game the team fell apart. The Redskins looked nice early and even though Peyton Manning threw three interceptions, Denver was able to score a ton of unanswered points to win out the matchup.
