The BCS standings and rankings are set to come out on Sunday night and after some dominating games from the top teams, there is expected to be a similar look at the top with the Alabama Crimson Tide, Florida State Seminoles, Oregon Ducks and Ohio State Buckeyes expected to remain in their top four spots, but the Missouri Tigers will likely fall after losing in overtime against the Gamecocks, leaving an opening for Baylor or Miami.

The rankings this week will remain top heavy with Alabama winning once again and so did Ohio State and Oregon by big margins and the rankings should be interesting with a number of top matchups coming next week. The predictions here have Alabama at ONE again easily with Florida State remaining at TWO and Oregon still at THREE since all won and number FOUR will be Ohio State with Baylor the likely team at number FIVE.

The BCS Rankings were released for the first time this season last week and there were some surprises among the top teams in college football, as Oregon was jumped by Florida State and with Alabama in the top spot in the poll, the Seminoles are now number two ahead of the Ducks, Ohio State and the Missouri Tigers at the number five spot.

The top five has two teams in the SEC for the first week and all teams in the top part of the BCS are undefeated, although the lowest one-loss team is Stanford, who are 6-1 this season and ranked sixth in the BCS just ahead of Miami and Baylor, while Clemson is now at nine after losing, while Texas Tech has snuck into the top 10 after improving to 7-0 under new coach Kliff Kingsbury. The top part of the BCS has some tough teams and there was some shuffling around in the rankings, as LSU, Texas A&M, Louisville and UCLA all lost this weekend and they were some of the top teams.

Baylor and Oregon have been two of the best offensive teams in the nation, but that didn't help too much, as the Ducks were jumped by FSU and Baylor sits behind a one-loss team for now. Baylor is ranked at sixth in the AP Top 25 and higher in some of the other polls, while Miami is at number seven in the AP and they have Oregon at number two while getting three first place votes. The Seminoles are at number three in the AP poll, while the top 15 of the BCS is rounded out with some teams that lost in UCLA and LSU, while Auburn is up to number 11, Virginia Tech is at 14 and Oklahoma is at 15 with a 6-1 record this season.

The BCS standings will obviously change up a great deal as the season goes on, but a number of teams have positioned themselves well and despite having two losses, the Aggies and South Carolina made it into the first rankings and so did LSU, as those three are the only ones with more than one loss in the top 25. Northern Illinois is moving up again with Jordan Lynch after crashing last season and at 7-0 they could do it again, while Nebraska snuck in after a win and so did UCF after they upset Louisville in their first loss of the season. Fresno State and Michigan are in now as well, as are Oklahoma State, Oregon State and Louisville, despite losing in a crazy game to the Knights in the Big East.

Alabama had another big game on Saturday and they now are in the top spot with a number of SEC teams behind them and Missouri is looking like one of the biggest surprises of the season, as they have their highest ranking in years. The SEC has six schools in the top rankings and that comes after having eight in the AP top 25 last week, while the Big Ten has three with Ohio State, the Wolverines and Nebraska coming in. Auburn made a big jump with their win over the Aggies and FSU now has a clear shot at the championship.

The hardest game for redshirt QB Jameis Winston and Florida State was likely to be Clemson and now that they have won that matchup, they can win out to make it to the national title against Alabama, which would put together two of the most consistent teams in the nation. The team won after a huge 50-point explosion over Clemson, while Alabama in a huge win, shutting the team out while dropping 52 points. Oregon and Ohio State also looked very good and now between those four teams it will be interesting to see who can stay undefeated.
