The NCAA football season is getting into the deep part of conference play and as that is going on, on Sunday the most important rankings of the season will be released for the first time, as the BCS rankings will be released on ESPN at 8:30 pm and heading into the event, Alabama and Oregon will most likely be the two top teams in the rankings, as they are undefeated and have been in those positions all season.

Alabama is still looking like the best team in the nation after winning again on Saturday and until they lose they likely will remain in the top spot with the AP and BCS rankings and after a number of big games over the weekend, the top five looks different in the Associated Press poll, with Missouri and Florida State moving up. Alabama and Oregon remain in the top two spots and now Florida State took over Clemson's spot at number three and behind them is Ohio State and now the Tigers are in the top five after another big win this week and that makes two SEC teams in the top five.

The Harris and USA Today polls are the same for one through four, while Baylor takes the number five spot in those polls over Missouri. The Tigers are up in the top five for their best ranking in years and Alabama remained in the top spot while Clemson, UCLA, LSU and Texas A&M all lost this weekend and now slip down in the rankings. The Crimson Tide are still the best team in the SEC and after having eight teams in the top 25, a bunch of teams lost and now Auburn has moved up after beating the Aggies on the road and Michigan is in at number 24, while Nebraska is also now in at the 25th ranked spot on the list. Baylor has been playing some amazing offensive football and they are now in the top 10.

Heading into the weekend the consensus had Alabama and Oregon at the top of the projected BCS rankings and many felt the winner of Clemson and Florida State would take the number three spot and that appears to be happening now that FSU prevailed in big fashion. Ohio State is in the top five as they remained undefeated and now teams like LSU, Texas A&M and UCLA will drop out and that means teams like Baylor, Missouri and others should move up in the BCS rankings as well. Florida State got another great game from redshirt freshman QB Jameis Winston and they are hoping for one of the teams ahead to lose in the hopes of getting in the national title race. Louisville will also drop down after losing most likely.

Here are some projected ideas for the BCS Standings:

Alabama Crimson Tide number one obv
Oregon Ducks at two

Florida State Seminoles at three
Ohio State Buckeyes at four
Missouri at five
Baylor at number six
Miami at number seven for Hurricanes
Stanford despite losing
Clemson also after losing
Maybe UCLA too
