World Series Forecast: Will it Be Cold in Game 2? A Look Game Time Weather

Oct 24, 2013 12:17 PM EDT

Beers will be for the brave Boston Red Sox fans as the World Series forecast calls for a chilly night at Fenway Park. We bring you Game 2 weather as the Red Sox host the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2013 World Series.

The warmest weather you will get in Boston today is 54 degrees and that will be way before the Red Sox and Cardinals take the field. Currently, as of 12:08 p.m. ET, it is 51 degrees with fair skies. Though there is a gust blowing at 18 mph, it still feels like it is 51 degrees.

As far as precipitation, there will be none today. The humidity percentage is sitting in the low 30's. The only thing that might shower today are strikeouts as the Cardinals will have their young starlet, Michael Wacha on the mound. John Lackey has been good this postseason, but he is not a strikeout pitcher.

Later on in the night, the temperature will dip about 10 degrees. Last night's game finished at around 11:30 p.m. ET. By that time tonight, it will be about 40 degrees with a breeze blowing at 11 mph.

Bundle Up?
Well, it depends how exciting the game gets. Some fans might pray for a pitchers' duel, especially since Friday's a work day. If fans forget to bundle up, especially those in the upper standing room only areas and over the Green Monster, then they too will hope for a quick game.

The wind might make it a bit uncomfortable, but the humidity will slowly rise as the nice progresses, which will be good news. However, be prepared for possibly lower temperatures as the forecase calls for a low of 33 in the night.

The best news is that there will be no Game 3 at Fenway Park. Friday's forecast calls for temperatures dipping into the upper 30's. That's more like Tom Brady weather in New England.
