The NFL schedule is now into Week 6 and while there are still some games to be completed, there are two teams left in the league undefeated in the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs with 6-0 records, while the New Orleans Saints are no longer undefeated after losing to the New England Patriots, as they now both are 5-1 on the season.
The Patriots pulled out a last-minute win over the Saints at home and are now 5-1 on the season and in first place in the AFC East after Tom Brady tossed the winner to Kenbrell Thompkins with under 10 seconds left in the game. The team is now 3-0 at home this season and are the clear leaders in the division over the 3-2 Miami Dolphins, 3-3 New York Jets and 2-4 Buffalo Bills, who lost to the Bengals on Sunday.
The NFC North shuffled up a bit with the Bengals taking over first place with a 4-2 record, while the tie between the Browns and Ravens was broken as both lost to fall to 3-3. The Steelers pulled off their first win of the season over the Jets and are now 1-4 on the year. The Colts are playing on MNF and are still first in the AFC South and they are looking good even if they lose, as the Titans, Texans and Jaguars all lost on Sunday.
The AFC South looks to be the toughest division in the league this year, as the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs are both undefeated at 6-0 and behind those two teams are the San Diego Chargers at 2-3 and the Oakland Raiders at 2-4. The NFC East will look a little different after the Cowboys and Redskins and for now the Eagles are tops at 3-3, while the Giants are still terrible at 0-6. The North has the Bears and the Lions on top at 4-2 and the Packers are now 3-2 after defeating the Ravens.
The NFC South has the Saints at 5-1 and the Panthers at 2-3 ahead of the 1-4 Falcons and they ate on top of the 0-5 Buccaneers. The West is getting tight with the 5-1 Seattle Seahawks and the 4-2 San Francisco 49ers, who sent the Cardinals to 3-3 with the Rams, who defeated the Texans.
