The Denver Broncos and New Orleans Saints both played exciting games in Week 5 of the NFL season and now both teams are at the top of the standings, as they are undefeated through five weeks of the season along with the Chiefs, improving to 5-0 this year to top the division standings.

The Broncos are in first place in the AFC West and they have been the most dominant team in the NFL, but naturally they are still tied for their division lead, as the Kansas City Chiefs are also 5-0 after defeating the Tennessee Titans. The West is a division that looks like it will be tough the rest of the season, as the Chargers are Raiders are both 2-3, making them one of only a few divisions in football where every team has at least two wins.

The Raiders defeated the Chargers in a game that was pushed into Sunday evening and now those teams are tied for second place behind the Chiefs and Broncos at 2-3. The Broncos and Peyton Manning have been on a record pace offensively and while Peyton threw his first pick of the season in the game against the Cowboys, he also added his first rushing touchdown in five years as well.

The Colts are tops in the AFC South at 4-1 and now they are pushing their lead, as everyone in the division lost over the weekend. The Houston Texans were dominated by the 49ers while the Titans lost to the Chiefs and the Jags fell to 0-5 after losing to the Rams on Sunday. The AFC North is looking tight at the top, as the Bengals, Ravens and Browns of all teams are 3-2, while the Steelers are 0-4 and on a bye after playing in London.

The AFC East saw the Patriots lose for the first time this season to fall to 4-1 and now they have a lead over the Dolphins at 3-2, while the Jets are 2-2 and playing on MNF and the Bills are 2-3 after losing to the Browns on Thursday. The Seahawks felt o 4-1 and now leads the NFC West over the 49ers and Cardinals at 3-2, while the Rams are 2-3 after winning over the Jags.

The Saints improved to 5-0 this season with a win over the Bears and now they could take a huge lead in the NFC south, as the Falcons play Monday night and are 1-3, while the Panthers and Bucs have combined for one win and seven losses at 1-3 and 0-4. The North has the Lions tied for first with the Bears at 3-2 over the 2-2 Packers, while Minnesota is 1-3.

The NFC East is embarrassing, as the Cowboys and Eagles are 2-3, the Skins are 1-3 and please, don't make me say this....the Giants are 0-5.
